At Bevois Town Primary School, racism has no place. We are committed to being an actively anti-racist school, where every child and adult feels safe, respected, and valued.
Guided by our HEART values – Hope, Equality, Ambition, Resilience and Teamwork – we:
teach children to stand up against racism and prejudice,
celebrate diversity and ensure every voice is heard,
challenge bias in our curriculum and policies,
and work together with families and the community to build a culture of belonging.
Anti-racism is not a one-off activity but part of everything we do – in our teaching, behaviour expectations, staff training, and partnerships. By embedding equity, dignity and justice across school life, we help every child to thrive and believe they can make a difference.
