Cut for a Cause! Two sisters in our school demonstrated incredible courage and selflessness by cutting their hair and donating it to the Princess Trust, a charity dedicated to providing real hair wigs for children and young people who have lost their hair due to medical conditions. Their thoughtful act not only supports those facing challenging times but also serves as a powerful example of courageous advocacy - using their voices and actions to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. | ||

Keeping Our School Clean - Helping OthersStay Safe - Dec 2024At Bevois Town, we’ve been working hard to keep our school grounds litter-free. But we know we are fortunate to have the right equipment to keep us safe while doing so.
Thanks to your incredible generosity in raising £140, waste pickers working with VSO in Kenya will also receive vital protective clothing to help keep them safe.
Every day, women in Kibera and Dandora work on Africa’s largest dumpsites, facing hazardous conditions to support their families. Without protective gear, they risk illness and injury, while also enduring exploitation and discrimination.
Your donation will help provide essential equipment like gloves and boots, training to improve their earnings, and support to create safer working conditions. Because of your kindness, these women have a greater chance of securing a safer, more stable future for themselves and their children. Thank you for making a difference! |
