At our school, the safety and wellbeing of every child is at the heart of everything we do. We are part of Operation Encompass, a national scheme that helps schools to support children who may have been affected by domestic abuse.
Operation Encompass is a partnership between the police and schools.
Following a domestic incident attended by the police, the school may be informed before the next school day begins. This information is shared in confidence with the school’s Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL).
